I failed, so what?

'Its not a disgrace to fail. Failing is one of the greatest arts in the world' - Charles F Kettering

People im beat today.

Dozed off halfway through practice before the 5.30 class and again right after dinner, i dropped on the bed. I was waiting for the 10 pm news for this.

This morning through lunch, I attended a short, sweet and to the point workshop by Nanz Chong Como on Managing and Growing Highlights from one business 99 lessons. I've attended workshops helping smes (small & medium enterprise) last in 2005 and must say this was the first i attended this year. 2006 i guiltily shunned away from the networking light due to work, this and that. I can say im so glad i was present for this one. I saw familiar faces and old friends again. And 1 good friend pointed out i have white hair. Frizzy one at that too. I have white hair? I have white hair! And it stuck right out of my head like a sore thumb.

Following Nanz's talk on failing and falling and to have the courage to get up again, i led the 7pm class to fall down today. Salamba sirsasana ( supported headstand) in the middle of the room with just a crash pad propped for safety. I really wanted them to see what it was like to fall. Only when you fall can you learn just how further back to place the hips and learn to engage in the core to keep you from falling. And only when you fall can you see how it will help you grow stronger in your pose. Much like in life . Much like in business.

How nice it is to lace the day with this theme.

On the scrapping front, i have just completed one LO(layout) as a gift to one of my students. This particular shot by The Man stood out and i was itching to scrap it. So here it is. Typical layout for me, really.

Can i go any bolder with the colours? Or is simplicity perhaps my branding now? haha..

Nite.
